With the world on the verge of war I am thanful for our lifestyle!

I know there are people who are against swinging but I gotta say that with the world in such a bad place, it is the best way to get some relief from all the stress! I been on the road for 9 months driving non stop and finally I am home for a few weeks for the holiday. My wife suggested we go to a swinger event at this local hotel last weekend. I was so tired but didn't want to say no so we went. We had such a good time and I was so glad she talked me into going out. After sitting in that truck day after day listening to all the shit going on around the world it was just what I needed. Everyone was smiling and partying and just kicking back. Those people who are not swingers really don't realize what they are missing. A whole lotta love was so nice to see.

It's funny because I am not someone people would ever suspect would be in the lifestyle. Even Anthony has a hard time believing it and he doesn't even know me. You make a great case for why I am a swinger. Although I can be very picky about who I play with I genuinely enjoy the atmosphere when surrounded by swingers. When you are not spending time in the lifestyle you are probably hanging around vanilla couples. Going to dinner, going to the movies, the opera, a show, what have you. When you converse it is usually about your children (either to boast or complain, either way, who really cares), or politics, your doctors appointment or money problems. Regardless of what the conversation is, it can be heavy. When you are amongst people in the lifestyle it is uncommon to discuss anything deeply personal or unpleasant. Nobody goes to a swing club or swing party to talk about their problems! People are there to put it aside and have a good time! Couples are smiling and laughing and enjoying their time away from everyday pressures!

This is so true! We just got back from Jamaica (Hedo) and I was so nervous to fly with all that is going on. It's all over the news and you can not avoid hearing all the horrible things. My husband was worried that I would not be able to relax and enjoy our vacation because of the stress.
As soon as we got into the van to head to the hotel we met a few couples and from that moment on I completely forgot about everything else. Hedo was one big party and not once did I hear anyone discussing politics or anything related to ISIS or France, nothing.
I have to agree that it is the best thing to be a part of for this reason. People are out looking to have a good time and to put their troubles away for the night (or the week).
We do not have any friends out of the lifestyle who can spend an evening just having fun. They always bring their work problems or child problems with them and we end up talking about that. That's not fun.

Swingers also seem to be the most open and respectful folks to spend time with. We live just outside of D.C. and some years back we went to a house party, that was hosted by someone we had partied with earlier, but did not know the others who were going to be at the party. We arrived on time at 10AM on a Sunday morning. When we walked through the door we were a little surprised. It looked like a meeting of the UN, there were couples from China , Malaysia, India, and the US. There were five couples total. We spent a little over an hour discussing the lifestyle in other countries before we all started playing. We were there till the party broke up at 8PM. In that time I had had sex with every lady there some more than once, and so it went with every one there. The lady from Malaysia kinda of giggled after we finished and were walking back to the bar (the gathering place when not playing) She asked how was your first Muslim girl. Even though everyone was from different parts of the world, different religions, different color, we all got along great and all had great sex together.
